Spiritual Life

As a community, we are brought together by the spirit and are responsible for the growth and transformation of our members. All of life is spiritual, and we are wanting to see the spiritual life in the common things of our life together.  Sharing meals, working side by side, serving together, telling and re-telling the story of God, invite us to be different kinds of people.  We are a people, called together to live according the Kingdom of God which is already among us and live as a contrast society here and now.

A large part of our own transformation is uncovering our woundedness and making that available to the community.  We are all wounded and can be a healing community when we name those.  The community of Jesus is not called together to answer our loneliness, rather it is only in community that we are capable of finding the people that can help us heal and transform.  When we gather we do not bring our loneliness to each other, we bring our solitude.  In solitude we seek to hear the voice of love that comes from the Father, and gather to celebrate and share that love with each other.
