We are a young mennonite community of followers of Jesus Christ, committed to love like God, to follow Jesus life and teachings, center our lives around community, and work for the reconciliation of all people to God  and each other. The name of our community comes from the teachings of Jesus to express God’s love at all times by choosing new creative responses to the brokenness in our own lives, and the brokenness we find in the world. This means we are always looking for the third option in a world of violence and withdrawal.

sunday meeting

We meet together Sunday Evenings at 5PM at Hamline Church in the Midway.  This is a time for members, guests, and visitors to participate together in worship, prayer, sharing, communion, and teaching, followed by a potluck meal.  Elementary age children join us for worship and sharing, then go for a teaching and prayer time together.  Younger children are cared by members for the whole time.

intentional community

The Thomas House is a shared household of unrelated folks who live communally.  The weekly schedule includes prayer times, shared meals, chores, and neighborhood care.

Intentional Neighbors are folks who choose to live in proximity with other members in order to share more life together including care for children, meals together, and sharing of resources.

covenant community

On the third Sunday evening of each month the folks who have covenanted together as part of thirdway gather from 6-8 to nurture our life together, and mobilize our community towards mission.
